Rachel Berger Traductrice et coach de dialect - French/English Translator and Dialect Coach

Ayant étudié sa langue maternelle anglaise et techniques vocales à haut niveau dans son pays d’origine, elle travaille désormais à Paris en tant que coach de dialect et traductrice (spécialisée dans la traduction de scénario, du français vers l’anglais). Elle a traduit « Paris Shanghai » de Frédéric Petitjean (selectionné au féstival de film de Shanghai) pour EIGHT 35 et la collaboration continue. Elle a travaillé en tant que coach de dialect sur la préparation du film « Marie-Antoinette » de Sofia Coppola et « Kingdom of Heaven » de Ridley Scott. Elle compte parmi ses clients (pour son coaching spécialisé dans les accents anglophones, tout particulièrement pour l’acteur au cinéma) : Patrick Bruel (O Jerusalem de E.Chouraqui); Yael Naim (The Hebrew Album); and Marianne Faithful (Irina P de S.Gabarski). Elle était notamment conseiller technique en langue anglaise et coach de dialect pour tous les acteurs du film français « Sunny et l’Eléphant » produit par Jean Pierre Bailly MC4 en 2008. Depuis 1998 elle coach régulièrement des acteurs et chanteurs dans les domaines musicales, télévisuelles, et cinématographiques.

Following many years studying english and vocal techniques in her native country, she has been living and working in Paris as a dialect coach and translator (specialising in script translation from french to english) for over ten years. She translated « Paris Shanghai » by Frederic Petitjean (selected by the Shanghai film festival) for EIGHT 35 and the collaboration continues. Her work as a dialect coach (specialising in accents in the english language, particularly geared for actors and singers) had her working on « Marie-Antoinette » by Sofia Coppola, and « Kingdom of Heaven » by Ridley Scott, among other feaure films for cinema, and has since led her to work with Patrick Bruel (O Jerusalem, E.Chouraqui) ; Yael Naim (The Hebrew Albulm) ; and Marianne Faithful (Irina P, S.Gabardski) amongst others clients. She was the technical english-language advisor and dialect coach for the entire cast of french film « Sunny and The Elephant » produced by Jean Pierre Bailly MC4 in 2008. Since 1998 she has been coaching actors and singers in the industries of Music, Television, and Cinema and continues to do so.
